Indulge in these decadent chocolate pancakes with a sweet twist of sliced bananas. Perfect for a special breakfast treat
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 2 ripe bananas, sliced
- Maple syrup for topping
Instructions:
Mix the cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl with a whisk
Take out a different bowl and mix the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract with a whisk
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ones and mix them together just until they are mixed
The chocolate chips should be carefully mixed in
Put a nonstick griddle or skillet over medium-low heat and lightly coat it with cooking spray or butter
For every pancake, pour 1/4 cup of the batter onto the pan
Once the top starts to bubble, flip it over and cook the other side until its golden brown
Put the pancakes on a plate and top them with banana slices and maple syrup
