Ingredients:

  • 200g all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 300ml milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • Additional butter or oil for cooking

Instructions:

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt

In another bowl, beat the eggs and then add the milk, vanilla extract, and melted butter

Mix well

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined

Do not overmix; lumps are okay

Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter or oil

Pour a ladleful of batter onto the skillet for each pancake

Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown on both sides

Repeat the process with the remaining batter, adding more butter or oil to the skillet as needed
